pnm a pair of names for the source node and target node, separated by a tab, in each line.
: :
stp consists of 2 sections. The node section contains node ID, x-, y-, and z-coordinates of the node, node type and node label. The edge section contains the source node ID, target node ID, and edge type.
Main menu
New : Create a new file of pathway data.
Open : Opens a file and draws the corresponding pathway graph.
Connect Server : Connect server, find pathway data and visualize list.
Save : Saves the pathway data in the current file.
Save as : Saves the structure data in a new file.
Exit : End of program
Layout : If it is the first click of this button, it displays the nodes with chosen layout algorithm ie. Sugiyama, FD Layout or Layered Layout. For subsequent clicks, if the chosen algorithm is FD layout then clicking this draws an FD layout of the nodes; Otherwise this button is ineffective.
Deform - Sphere : Arranges nodes in spherical space.
Deform - Random : Draws nodes in random order.
Windows : When multiple files are open for viewing pathway diagram, this button lists all the diagram windows that are open. The user can choose which window is to be kept on top.
Tool buttons
New : Create a new file of pathway data
Open : Opens a file and draws the corresponding pathway graph. On clicking the small down arrow on the right of this icon, a dropdown list of history of recently opened files is shown. User can quickly open recently open files using this feature.

Mouse Left Button Clicking and holding the left mouse button enables the user to move the diagram. When a node is clicked, only that particular node is moved keeping others stationary. Additionally, the user may hold 'ctrl' key to select multiple nodes before moving them.
: :
Mouse Right Button Clicking and holding the right button down enables the user to rotate the diagram with click coordinates serving as the pivot.
: :
Hold down Both Mouse Button By holding down both the mouse button at the same time, user can control the size of the diagram. Moving mouse frontwards this way scales up the diagram , while pulling the mouse backwards scales down the graphics.
